Cedar Park School

Working together to be the best we can

Amersham Field Study Centre Visit

On Tuesday 6th October Year 4 set off on a dull grey morning equipped for all weathers, which was just as well as it rained almost all day!! But this didn't dampen our enthusiasm for the activities. We learned how to use a compass and read maps. The forest trail was a real challenge as the map was slowly disintegrating in the rain. Fortunately, we all made it back to the centre for lunch and it even stopped raining.
In the afternoon we worked as teams to complete some challenges including, negotiating a maze, crossing a swamp, co-operating on skis and completing a human puzzle. It was great fun!
We hope you like our photos too!!
