On 15th November 2010 Year 3 visited Aylesbury. We spent the morning at the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies looking at old Tudor documents and maps to find out how people lived in Tudor times.
We wrote with a quill pen and used a wax seal. We also learnt about Tudor buildings in Buckinghamshire and drew pictures.
After that we walked through Aylesbury where we looked at some Tudor buildings. Then we went to the County Museum and their Tudor rooms. Some children dressed up and we learnt about the food that would be served to a rich nobleman.
We had a great day learning about Tudor people in Buckinghamshire!
