Improving Keyboard Skills

Children often enjoy writing on the computer but progress is often slow as their keyboard skills are poor. This website is aimed at children and, if used regularly, can help children to improve their keyboard skills. parents can have a go too!

A website to with activities online to help learning multiplication tables. There are lots of similar activities if you search on Google.

Left-Handed Children

This site has support materials and advice to help children who are left-handed.

Column Subtraction Website

A site which allows children to share the methods used to teach column subtraction. This needs additional software to run.

Government Support Website For Parents

This is a link to a government website which offers guidance for parents in Numeracy and Literacy.

Phonics - helping your children

This is a link showing a video to help parents with the pronunciation of the phonemes used in the teaching of phonics. When children are reading or writing they can sound words out, using these sounds to help them read or spell a word. It is important that children recognise the sounds which letters or letter strings make.
