Welcome to the Friends Pages

When children start at Cedar Park School, their parents automatically become members of the Friends Association. The Friends run events throughout the year to support the school and raise money for the children.

These pages will keep you up-to-date with the different events that are planned and report back on our achievements over the year.

All support is greatly appreciated and makes a big difference! If you are willing and able to help us in any way, we would be very pleased to hear from you!

Some of the events that we run are:-

Children's Film Night
Hot Dog Days (once a term)

Sponsored Events

These events are very popular and always good fun!

The money we have raised from these events has gone towards:-

Lunchtime Play Equipment
Playground Toys
Geography Resources
Books
Year 1 Resources
Multi Sound Centre, Projector and Speakers for the Hall
Stools for the ICT Suite
Outdoor Activity Equipment

We also try and subsidise school events which in the past has included paying for the coaches for the Dance Factory performance at the Albert Hall and the coaches to the Pantomime for the whole school. We also provide every Year 6 child with an autograph book and give a contribution to their Leavers Disco.
