It’s finally here… the most exciting time of the year! It feels as though we have been counting down for a while, but I know the children are so excited for their Christmas holiday!
I’d like to start by saying a big THANK YOU for all of the lovely gifts, wishes and cards I have received this week – I am a very lucky teacher! I have had the best start to working at Cedar Park, with a truly wonderful class full of talented children!
We have enjoyed all sorts of Christmas activities this week. The children have used their hand prints to paint beautiful Christmas trees, and used their fingers and thumbs to paint snowmen Christmas cards for you… we hope you like them!
Tuesday night’s production of ‘A midwife’s crisis’ was a huge success. The children performed brilliantly, their voices could be heard in every corner of the hall, and their singing was definitely X Factor standard! Thank you so much for your support with learning lines and song lyrics, your efforts are very much appreciated!
Next term will be full of new topics, fresh starts and many exciting learning opportunities… I can’t wait! But before that, I hope you all enjoy a restful break – may your Christmas celebrations be filled with fun, family and laughter.
See you all in 2014, ‘Merry Christmas!’
