Welcome to Cedar Park School!
Thank you for visiting our school website. We hope that it will provide you with useful information about life in our school and the people who are part of it. We are very proud of our school and work hard to ensure that it is a happy place where everyone is committed to
“working together to be the best we can”
Cedar Park is a one form entry primary school situated on the Park Estate in Hazlemere. The school has an Early Years Foundation Stage Unit and provides primary education throughout Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Children currently start in our Nursery class the term after their fourth birthday and leave school in the year that they turn 11. The school is organised in classes by age. Each class has a named class teacher and at least one additional adult employed to support children in their learning. The school is very well resourced, with excellent ICT facilities, our own swimming pool, a well-stocked library, and extensive grounds.
Our latest Ofsted inspection recognised that Cedar Park School provides a good education and standards are consistently above average. We place a strong emphasis on supporting children’s personal development and well-being and pride ourselves on the fact that children are happy, safe and enjoy coming to school.
We are committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and provide a full range of extra-curricular activities where children can have fun, develop new skills and take part in festivals with children from other local schools.
We are supported extremely well by the Friends of Cedar Park School and are very grateful for the effort that they put in to improving opportunities for everyone here.
Cedar Park is a forward-looking school where we strive for high standards in all that we do. We aim for each day to be an exciting one, providing a wide range of experiences and opportunities for children to learn more about themselves and the world around them.
Our school website is a way of maintaining good communication with parents, children and our local community. If you have any questions or comments we would value your feedback.
Thank you again for visiting our website!
