MESSAGE FOR ALL PARENTS: We are very sorry to not be with the children in Nursery, please see Tapestry for daily home learning activities. These will be updated daily from Monday wherever possible. Many thanks, Mrs Bevins.

Welcome to Cedar Park School Nursery!

Mrs Bevins, Mrs Delmaine and Mrs Hatfield warmly welcome all our children and their families to our Nursery class.

Useful publication:

What to expect, when? A parents’ guide

The purpose of this booklet is to help you as a parent/carer find out more about how your child is learning and developing during their first five years, in relation to the EYFS. Children develop more rapidly during the first five years of their lives than at any other time. This booklet has been written to help you as a parent know what to expect during these vitally important years by focusing on the seven areas of learning and development which are covered in the EYFS.

A few reminders of what to bring....

Every day:

a named water bottle,

a named book bag with key ring attached for easy recognition,

a named coat/hat dependent on the weather and

a smile!

Show and Tell is every Monday (please send in an item which starts with our sound of the week), cooking is every other Wednesday and our library visit is on a Friday. We aim to change phonics/reading books on a Wednesday.

Each week we have a different focus within our topic, additionally we look at a sound, number, shape and colour each week too. Please see a member of staff if you have any questions.
