POP ART
This term we have been looking at POP ART.
POP ART was an art movement that appeared in the United Kingdom and America in the 1950s and 1960s.
Instead of looking to past art movements and traditional views on what art should be, young artists turned to the modern world around them. They took inspiration from popular culture such as comic books, advertising, Hollywood movies and packaging.
Here we have looked at food packaging and the work of Roy Lichtenstein for inspiration.
