Dear Year 6

I hope you all enjoyed the half term break. We have reached the point where school is now able to partially re-opening to some years. Year 6 is one of the selected year groups and so there is the opportunity for us to meet and learn together. It will be great to see those of you who are able to return.

For all of us, online learning for the week will still be posted on this page.  There will always be at least 3 sessions worth of learning but you can choose to manage this how you like. However, the Maths is likely to usually be 5 lessons and we will engage with the same material in school.

It would still be great to see what you are up to and really want to encourage you to use the email address to send us things you have been doing.

Stay safe everyone and be a Stay at Home Superhero!

This email is specifically dedicated for the children to use to contact the teacher. If parents have any messages or queries for school

then please still direct them to the school office email address as usual.

Year 6 Class Page

Dear Year 6,

It may be strange that we are not all learning together at this time but I know that, wherever you are, you will be showing the mature attitude we have seen develop since the start of the year and will be encouraging others with the enthusiasm that you always bring to our classroom.

Each day, we can continue out learning by exploring the variety of tasks posted here. I will post a Maths, Reading and Writing task and will also try to find interesting and varied activities to go alongside these. If you have suggestions then you might like to email the Office who will do their best to pass it on to me.

Mrs Franek has a friend that wrote a story called Stay at Home Superheroes. This is something all of us can be right now. Check it out and share its important message with younger siblings. Find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wvs5SGjbUDU&feature=youtu.be

With any of the learning you do, please keep a record of it. Particularly with Topic or PE tasks, you may want to take photos or video to share when we next meet.

Don't forget to be as active as possible. I know my children enjoyed the live, online PE workout and hopefully some of you did too.

Stay safe, positive and be a stay at home superhero!
