Compliments and Complaints
Compliments
At Cedar Park School we welcome feedback on how we are doing. Your feedback informs our discussions, planning for our future and the decisions we make to improve the school provision for all our children and families.
From time to time we receive comments, emails, letters and cards with positive feedback and thanks.
'We have been coming to Cedar park School for almost 11 years now so our son leaving year 6 marks the end of a chapter. We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for their support over the years. Both our sons have loved Cedar Park and we can't think of a better start to their education.'
'Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. The last thirteen years have been wonderful.'
Please help us to know what we are doing well and make suggestions for our consideration at our parents evening meetings and look out for our parent survey.
Examples regarding remote learning:
- They have risen to the challenge of creating the impossible, a fantastic home learning programme that is sympathetic and supportive to working parents and parents of multiple children.
- It is clear to see the time, effort, care and attention that has gone into each and everyday day they have provided work, the personalised videos, the voiced powerpoints, the demonstrations, the websites, activities, you tube links, they are all so carefully thought out and link seamlessly day after day to provide continuity and support for not only the girls, but for us the parents, trying desperately to juggle so many hats at the moment.
General examples:
- You really do make the children feel safe and settled very quickly at the start of each term.
- I think the children are appreciated as individuals no matter what their background.
- I love the use of the Growth Mindsets theory.
- Keeps me informed as to what I can do to help my child at home.
- Children are challenged to correct levels.
- Warm supportive learning environment.
All the comments we received are available to look at inside the school reception area.
