Pupil Voice
At Cedar Park, we have two Head Pupils, who are democratically elected by the children and staff. These children meet regularly with Mr Redman to look at ways to enhance the experience of all pupils at Cedar Park. Ideas have included:
-Fundraising events
-Enrichment activities
-Lunch time equipment suggestions
Each class also votes in two School Council Representatives, who join Miss Mason for regular meetings. This group of children take a lead on big school projects; the last of which was our Going Green Day.
But we don't just ask for the opinions of Head Pupils and Councillors. All children at Cedar Park have a voice; particularly on things like safety and wellbeing.
As a leadership team, we analyse the results of our surveys and decide upon appropriate actions. We compare results with previous years to see how our actions are having impact.
