Each half-term, we share a newsletter to give you an insight into the exciting learning and experiences your child will be enjoying in the Early Years. The newsletter highlights what we’ll be focusing on across the key areas of the EYFS curriculum, so you know what to expect and how you can support learning at home.
 

This half-term, children will be developing their skills through:

• Communication and Language – building vocabulary, listening carefully and joining in conversations.

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development – learning to share, take turns and talk about their feelings.

• Physical Development – building strength and coordination through fun, active play.

• Literacy – exploring stories, rhymes and early writing skills.

• Mathematics – practising counting, recognising numbers and exploring shapes.

• Understanding the World – discovering more about the world around them, people and communities.

• Expressive Arts and Design – using imagination through art, music, role-play and creative activities.
