Welcome to the Year 6 Curriculum Overview

At Cedar Park School and Nursery, we believe every child’s learning journey should be exciting, inspiring, and filled with opportunities to grow. Our Year 6 curriculum has been carefully designed to nurture curiosity, encourage creativity, and build essential skills that prepare pupils for the next stage of their education.
 

Throughout the year, children will explore a broad and balanced curriculum that covers a rich variety of foundation subjects including History, Geography, Art, Design Technology, Music, PE, and Computing. We also place a strong emphasis on personal development through PSHE, wellbeing activities, and opportunities to develop resilience, independence, and teamwork.
