Welcome to Year 4!

Welcome back to the Summer Term! 

Our PE slots for this half-term will be on a Wednesday and Friday. 

PE lessons will primarily take place outdoors, weather permitting.

• Summer 1: We will be focusing on Rounders and Tennis.

• Summer 2: Our focus will shift to Hockey and Athletics

Please ensure children have appropriate outdoor PE kit for the season and weather conditions.

Earrings must be taken out for PE and we would thoroughly recommend not wearing them on days when there is PE.

Curriculum - The Curriculum News outlines the topics we will be focusing on in each area of the curriculum during the Summer Term and we hope you will continue to support your children at home with reading and learning multiplication tables. 

Uniform - I remind you that Children are expected to look smart at all times. Hair should be tied back with plain hair ties and clips of a colour which blends in with school uniform. Ear studs are permitted but nothing else.

Trips -  We have an exciting school trip to Whipsnade Zoo, more details to follow. 

Reading - I encourage you to continue to sign your child's reading record and ensure they are recording in it and returning it to me every Monday alongside their library books. The Library books will be changed each Monday when one is returned.
