Welcome to Autumn Term in Year 5
(2025-2026)

Hello everyone and welcome back! I hope you had a brilliant summer and are ready for an exciting year ahead.

In Year 5, we’ve got so many fun and interesting things to do and learn together. This year you’ll have myself as your teacher for four days, and Miss Mason will be teaching you on one day each week. We’ll also have Miss Sturgess as our TA to help us with our learning.

PE

In the Autumn term, our PE day is Wednesday and we will be swimming on Thursday mornings. 

Kit

Swimming - costume, towel, hat and goggles.

PE - wear PE kit all day - please dress suitably for the weather. 

Library

Our Library day is on Thursday afternoon. Please ensure you bring your books back each week so that you can swap them for a new one. 

Please bring a fresh water bottle every day, and when the weather gets colder, make sure you’ve got a warm coat with you.
