Welcome to Autumn Term in Year 6

(2025-2026)

I hope you all had a wonderful and restful summer break. I am really looking forward to the term ahead as it promises to be both busy and exciting, filled with new learning opportunities, challenges, and experiences.

I am delighted to welcome the children back and can’t wait to see all that they will achieve in Year 6.

PE

Our PE days for this term are listed in the timetable below. On their allocated PE day, children should come to school wearing their full PE kit. On Thursdays, pupils will need to bring their swimming kit, which includes a swimming costume, towel, swimming hat, and goggles. Please ensure all items are clearly labelled to help avoid any mix-ups.

Library

Our library day will be on Thursday afternoons during the autumn term. In this time, children can take out 2 library books (one of their banded colour and one for pleasure) and should return them when they finish.
