Welcome to Autumn Term in Year 2 
(2026-2027) 

This year, Miss Rowe will be the class teacher with support from Ms Thompson and Miss Wilson. Mrs Cook will be teaching the children from 11am on Wednesdays. 

PE 

Our PE afternoons are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 

Reading & Library 

The children will take home two reading books on a Friday, please could these be brought back into school the following Wednesday. The children will also bring home a library book of their choice every Wednesday. Please record any reading that you do with your children in their reading records. 

Drinks 

Please could all children bring in a named water bottle for the classroom, this is additional to their lunchtime drink. You can also send in a healthy snack for our morning break time if you would like.

Please see our timetable and curriculum information below, and make sure to check the website for any updates or events throughout the school year. Year 2 will also be visiting the Chiltern Open Air Museum on Friday 9th October for an exciting ‘Victorian Day’.
